Deploying Bonita on custom server

Greetings everyone!

I hope you will be able to help me out with this one. I've made a BPMN process (using BOS 5.10.1.), added several external .jars, custom as well, and now I want to deploy the application on a custom server. However, I'm not familiar with the details of Bonita and how it deploys certain things.

For example:

  • what kind of export should I choose? There are several ways of exporting Bonita...
  • How do I set up the database (mysql) and where do I tell Bonita to connect to my database?
  • Can I run Bonita on Tomcat and if so, how?

I'm hoping there's any kind of detail tutorial on this issue, since I'm realy lost at the moment.

thank you for the link, I've looked around the page for info, unfortunately, there's nothing about the database, how it should be configured, shoul it have any pre-defined tables etc.

Well,

That's probably because the documentation is for the version 6.1 of Bonita. And you are using the 5.10. :)

But there is a section for the 5.10 with this documentation --> http://documentation.bonitasoft.com/5x/bos-58/system-administration/inst...

There you can find what you need to use 5.10 but I really recommend you to start with 6.1 version if you can. :)
