Upgrade

Hi

I'm using Bonita Studio community version 7.8.4 and I want to upgrade it to 2021.1 version.

Actually because of active users on version 7, I installed new version and move every process from old version to new version one by one, but in the first movement I saw some my custom widget doesn't work correctly!

What is best way for upgrade from version 7 to 2021?

Is it better using migration way?

We'd used Bonita (7.7) as part of the system. Last month, the client had told us that they wanted to upgrade Apache Tomcat to the latest version. My concern is that when we firstly implemented the system, Bonita was installed with Tomcat bundle, so I'm not sure will there be any issue if Apache Tomcat was upgraded separately.

Is it ok if I upgrade Apache Tomcat without upgrading Bonita? Are there anything I need to concern after upgrading?

I need to upgrade a Bonita 6.4.1 installed on an old 14.04 Ubuntu server. I would like to get some advice on what would be the best way to do it.
I think my options are:
1) Upgrade the OS to 16.04 and then to 18.04 (all LTS) and then run the migration tools of Bonita;
2) Migrate all the Bonita sw/settings to a newly installed 18.04 Ubuntu server and then upgrade Bonita with the migration tools;

In my company, we use Bonitasoft Teamwork edition.
Today, I downloaded the 7.4.1 version, and after installation, it requires a new license, but we don't want to use up one more license key just for upgrade. I could not find how to upgrade to newer version in the old Bonita bpm.
Is there a way to upgrade to newer version of Bonita without generating a new license key?
Because the server is the same, it counts as one user. So, everything's ok now.

The hardware/software requirements for 7.4.1 indicate using either Java 7 or 8; however when I try to upgrade to 7.4.1 and run the migration tool using Java 7, I get the below error, which indicates that I need Java 8. Is that correct? That I should really be using Java 8 for 7.4.1?

Does anybody has open source runable Bonita 5.x process which then upgraded for 6.x version?

I need to compare 2 processes after it's upgraded to know if Bonita 6.x does make a process have a better quality.
