[WEBINAR] Adaptative Case Management with Bonita

Tue, 06/19/2018 - 10:30
Adaptative Case management is on the uprise within application development and greatly contributes to accelerating digital transformation.Case management offers an agile, adaptive and holistic approach while being case-centered versus just process-centered. With data at its core, Case Management offers dynamic modeling of all process possibilities and features and a quicker time-to-market in comparison with the more structured BPM process-centered approach.BPM and Case Management are not systematically opposed. A Case Management solution can benefit from the capabilities or functionality offered by BPM by which processes in a Case Management solution will adhere to BPM standards and concepts.Join us for an informative  webinar on July 16th, 2018 at 11 AM EDT and learn: BPM, Case Management, process-centric approach, case-centric approach... what are the differences? How to set up an adaptative case management solution with Bonita, with a demonstration Our example is a common one: when a financial institution detects a suspicious transaction online, such as suspected credit card fraud, they can handle the request according to an unstructured process. The advantages Case Management has to offer (responsibility of actors, management of the unexpected, context adaptation, process control) Webinar Takeaway: You'll be able to implement a case-centric approach with Bonita, with a focus on data and files as the drivers of process execution.

For 20 years, OSCON has been the focal point of the open source movement. The 2018 OSCON conference convenes the latest open source technologies and projects, no matter their origin or affiliation. Rather than focusing on a single language or aspect, the conference's program solely focuses on projects in areas of innovation including AI, infrastructure, blockchain, edge computing, architecture, and emerging languages.Bonitasoft will take part in OSCON this year as a member of the OW2 organization.Come visit us at the OW2 stand, from Wednesday July 18th to Thursday July 19th at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland Oregon.

[New York City Meetup] Bonita & UiPath, BPM & RPA technologies as a new joint force

Fri, 05/25/2018 - 02:00
There's a difference between Business Process Management (BPM) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). While both technologies deal with automation and both are being increasingly used in digital transformation projects, one cannot serve as a substitute for the other. It is easy to understand the confusion. The two methodologies are highly complementary, but have very distinct purposes and scope. A strong impact is achieved when both technologies are deployed simultaneously. To gain market advantage in today’s highly competitive landscape, organizations are increasingly seeking solutions to help them expedite operational processes, increase agility and deliver greater value to customers. By partnering with UiPath, Bonitasoft will enable clients to complete routine tasks – including administrative duties, workflow and multi-level approvals – with optimal agility. By delegating these processes to a virtual digital workforce of software robots, company employees will be able to focus on more strategic, creative and customer-facing initiatives. Forrester Research has projected that the robotic process automation market, while only $250 million in 2016, will grow to $2.9 billion in 2021. However, buying companies are sometimes inclined to jump straight to RPA as a solution when in fact they need a more holistic approach to automation, such as business process management, or BPM.Join Joe Pappas, Bonitasoft Sales Engineer, in a lively discussion and networking event in New York City where he will display the similarities and differences between BPM and RPA and demonstrate Bonita and UiPath integration.

[Chicago Meetup] Easy, traceability-compliant applications built on blockchain with Bonita

Wed, 05/23/2018 - 01:30
Implementing blockchain technology and building enterprise applications on top of blockchain presents some daunting challenges. In addition to dealing with the overall complexity of blockchain, enterprises must also decide which blockchain implementation to choose from among the various public (open-source) and private solutions available. Fortunately, key aspects of blockchain are highly complementary with another major process-based technology: Business Process Management (BPM). Using a BPM application platform like Bonita can radically simplify application development with blockchain, by using the BPM standard graphics-based process design to build production-ready blockchain applications - faster and with less risk. We'll show you what this means: Always-forward motion complements both technologies. With applications built on blockchain, data is added but never deleted. With BPM applications, once a task is completed, the process never reverses to go back and update the task.BPM can greatly simplify and enhance the development of applications on blockchainBonita integration capabilities can leverage Stratumn technology for traceability and authentication Join Bonita BPM Tech Evangelist Pierrick Voulet in downtown Chicago for a lively presentation and discussion.REGISTER HERE

Developer Week - Accelerate Blockchain applications development with BPM

Thu, 05/03/2018 - 17:30
BPM-based application platforms can greatly simplify and enhance the development of applications on blockchain. BPM’s graphically based low-code development capabilities allow blockchain application developers to extract the complexity of blockchain and model it visually, so that it’s easier to quickly integrate applications with any public or private blockchain technology. At Bonitasoft, we’ve built a few prototypes this year, and engaged with customers about building business solutions that leverage blockchain technology. Examples of these solutions: management of automobile orders using Chain.com and a document approval process using Stratumn blockchain technologies. In this talk at DeveloperWeek 2018, we’ll discuss how we handle the complexity of integrating blockchain solutions by leveraging the integration capabilities of a BPM-based application platform. We’ll also highlight how to leverage a process-based approach to implement the business logic of the applications. This has a strong common point with blockchain’s concept of “always-forward” motion. Also, we welcome you to come and meet us live at our conference exhibit booth that will be open for the entire duration of the conference, from Tuesday, June 19th to Wednesday, June 20th, 2018. Stop by and enjoy the always pleasant Bonita atmosphere!

Usability and application design

Wed, 05/02/2018 - 17:30
Maintaining proper balance between developers and ergonomists is not always simple, as their goals and interests may be out of sync. But when the “machine” is well oiled, applications provide great and exceptional value can be easily produced. Join Nathalie Cotte, Usability Specialist and Bonita Product Owner, as she shares her insights and experience in user-centric methodology. She will also display how it can successfully be implemented with Bonita. You will leave with concrete examples of how to enhance the user experience within your applications.

Webinar on GDPR: It's here! Time to move from planning to action!

Wed, 05/02/2018 - 17:30
Are you fully ready to comply with the GDPR legislation on May 25th? If you are still analyzing, studying, or even just still trying to understand this legislation, it's time to hit the accelerator and get into implementation. Compliance will affect many players in your business, not just the marketing department or the IT department. GDPR rules can touch many - even all - of the business processes that touch your data. What could be better than a Business Process Management solution to orchestrate those processes, and ensure their proper execution and traceability? Bonitasoft will demonstrate, using the example of managing the "right to be forgotten," how a BPM platform can save you compliance time and can put a sustainable solution in place for all processes related to GDPR, however complex your information system.

OW2con'18

Thu, 04/26/2018 - 15:00
Free software was defined a generation ago by the freedom to use, read, modify and redistribute the code. Yet these four simple rules have had the power to change the software industry. What appeared as an efficient techno-legal construct based on generous values of sharing and openness to efficiently collaborate on software development efforts has become open source software, a business model and a vehicle of collaborative innovation. OW2con’18 will concentrate on the many faces of open source software, its journey between values and value.Antoine Mottier, Bonitasoft technical evangelist, will give talk about how Bonitasoft bring deployment and tests automation to the Bonita platform using a mix of open source components.
