How Artificial Intelligence makes business applications smarter Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is filtering into just about every segment of day-to-day business. From performing complex data-driven tasks, to optimizing workflow, to increasing team collaboration, AI is here to stay and it is gaining ground rapidly. Recent Bonita development with AI is focused on anticipating issues in process-based applications, to better align them with available resources to avoid bottlenecks. Bonita’s Intelligent Continuous Improvement uses an algorithm that analyzes processes and predicts certain behaviors, enabling recommendations for changes to keep the process action moving. Learn how AI-powered Bonita applications can free up you and your team for more productive uses, increase your creativity and collaboration and support your company’s core mission. Join BPM tech visionaries Nicolas Chabanoles and Natalie Cotté in downtown San Francisco for a lively presentation and discussion. BPMNext 2018 - Advanced decision automation in process-based apps powered by Artificial Intelligence
The definitive Showcase of Business Process Management SoftwareNow in its 6th year, bpmNEXT remains the definitive showcase of the next generation of Business Process Management software – covering Advanced Analytics, Blockchain, Decision Management, Digital Transformation, Robotic Process Automation, AI, the Internet of Things, Process Mining, and the next generation of BPMS platforms. This is no typical “how to” conference aimed at BPM newcomers. It is designed specifically for those already chest-deep in BPM and wanting to get in early on the next generation of process innovation technology – touch it, see it, and influence it.Nicolas Chabanoles, Head of development @Bonitasoft will present "Advanced decision automation in process-based apps powered by Artificial Intelligence"As process based applications get more sophisticated, however, the effect of delays—or blocked business processes--remains a problem. Delays due to resource unavailability, peak workload, and external dependencies. Recent strides in artificial intelligence are making it possible to anticipate future constraints and align them with available resources–that is, to become proactive rather than reactive--and avoid the bottlenecks altogether. Application of AI technologies allows process-flow pattern detection and process and business metrics predictions--guiding corrective actions and updates of running applications. With AI, applications can analyze their own historical patterns and signal future constraints that are not easily perceived by a human observer. During this session we will demonstrate a new add-on to the Bonita platform that provides advanced decision automation capabilities thanks to process mining algorithms and machine learning techniques. The add-on analyzes business processes execution and predicts certain behaviors enabling recommendations for automated or human decision making.Find the full agenda here
Internet of Things North America is a technical event covering advanced connectivity and cloud based monitoring/control of devices, facilities, automobiles, people, and enterprise operations. One of the oldest IoT events in the United States, IoT North America covers all facets of the industry including the IoT Ecosystem, Systems Design, IoT Networks, Big Data, Cloud, Security, DevOps, Smart City, and much more. The 2018 event will be held in Chicago, Ill. area on May 31 – June 1, 2018.Pierrick Voulet from Bonitasoft will present : Accelerate Blockchain Applications Development with BPMHesitant about the integration of a Blockchain solution? In this talk, we’ll show you how we handle the complexity of integrating a Blockchain solution so you can focus on building applications. Learn how to handle the complexity of integrating these solutions by leveraging the integration capabilities of a BPM-based application platform. We’ll also highlight the how to leverage a process-based approach to implement the business logic of the applications. This has a strong common point with Blockchain’s concept of “always-forward” motion. Real-world examples will include management of automobile orders using Chain.com and a document approval process using Stratumn Blockchain technologies. You can see the full agenda here

Bonita Days - Webinar Series - Trace and authenticate data on the blockchain with Bonita and Stratum
Implementing blockchain technology, and building enterprise applications on top of blockchain, presents some daunting challenges. In addition to dealing with the overall complexity of blockchain, institutions must also navigate decisions about which blockchain implementation to choose among public (open-source) and multiple private implementations. It turns out that the key concepts of blockchain are complementary with another major process-based technology: business process management (BPM). Using a BPM platform like Bonita can simplify application development with blockchain, enabling institutions to use BPM to build production-ready blockchain applications in less time and with less risk. Learn how: Leverage Bonita integration capabilities to quickly integrate Stratumn technology Always-forward motion complements both technologies. With applications built on Blockchain, data is added but never deleted. With BPM applications, once a task is completed, the process never reverses to go back and update the task. BPM can greatly simplify and enhance the development of applications on Blockchain
Through continued modernization, digital transformation platforms are going beyond traditional process automation and optimization to help realize Lean IT advantages in organizations of all sizes. This case will show how an interactive, low-code digital transformation approach is being used to completely revise operational processes for coordination of services for the secure operations of the high-voltage electricity system for over 40 percent of the population of the European Union. The digital transformation project was launched with a cross-functional IT team with the goal of creating an application that would eliminate the operational waste and knowledge loss due to manual execution, non-standardized processes, and operations engineer turnover. Now in production for 6 months, the organization has automated complex data collection and a formalized decision process for two processes that manage the consolidation of several hundreds of different data about the European Grid. Learn what they did, how they did it, the tools they used, and the lessons learned by the IT team as they continue to transform this organization’s complex manual data collection, analysis, and report generation processes with lean, efficient applications that provide high added value to their ultimate customers.
