Connect Bonita studio to Bonita Server

I'm starting deploying Bonita Community Edition in my company. I've installed server 7.6 on Linux machine and now I'm starting to build my processes. Server/portal is on another machine than Studio. Is there any option to connect Bonita Studio on my laptop with data on the server for example company data, deploy processes to server etc? Or the only one possibility is the import/export option?

Hi,

There is no tooling to deploy what you create in Bonita Studio directly from the Studio to a remote server.

Doing the export from the Studio and deployment using Bonita Portal administration view is mandatory at least in Community Edition.

The Subscription Edition provide tooling to automate the build and deployment using Continuous Integration tooling. It can also be used to automate tests.

Hi,
Understood this but my concern is my bonita studio is consists of h2 database and my bonita server is having MySQL configured. So, in that case how to export and import my process into the bonita server.
Please help me at the earliest.

You will also need to build and export the BDM from Bonita Studio and deploy it on your Bonita Server. See the following documentation page (section "Export the BDM for deployment"): https://documentation.bonitasoft.com/bonita/7.9/define-and-deploy-the-bdm
