Custom Connector with document input

Hello, Guys!
I'm trying to create a custom connector, that can upload documents with metadata attached to it to Alfresco. To do that I'm trying to create a connector from the interface of Bonita (Development - Connectors - New implementation). I have added a document to my pool. When I start to create the connector on the second page I have to define my inputs for the connector, so I put a parameter document of type Document. On the next page I have to create a page with widgets, where after that I'm supposed to select my document. One of my question is what I have to choose for widget type, because there is no type like object or document, so I'm selecting text. After I finish the steps I'm trying to add a connector to one of my human tasks, but when i get to the page to select my document it doesn't appear in the list of options. And my other question is how do you create a custom connector with input document object? What I'm doing wrong?
I will really appreciate your help!
A.Mincheva.

I will need to upload and a set of custom metadata with the document and the provided connector doesn't give me this opportunity. Is there a way to customize a little bit the original connectors?

There is already a Connector for Alfresco, does this not work?
