How to migrate from 6.5 to 7.1

Hello All,

I have an application deployed on jboss server in 6.5 version. I am trying to migrate it to 7.1. I have been referring to this documentation:

In this, I am not quite sure I follow step 3 in " Migrate the Platform" section. I have jdbc driver for Oracle database but am I suppose to create the "lib" folder and where is the "Config.properties" file??

Hi,

once you unzipped the migration tool to , folders should just be relative to this one, and Config.properties is supposed to be on root folder of

NOTE: as explained in doc & release notes, you'll need to migrate in 2 steps:

  • 6.x.y to 7.0.0 using latest v1 migration tool
  • 7.0.0-> 7.x.y using migration latest v2 migration tool
