Let's start diving into new features of Bonita 2021.2. Whether you are using Bonita Community or Bonita Enterprise, you will discover in this series of posts some great new functionalities and improvements. Objective: give the user the maximum of information prior to Bonita 2021.2 release to ease their use.

Let’s start from the beginning. Are you starting a first implementation with Bonita? Are you new to Bonita concepts? The new Project overview feature will help you create and use the various elements that make up a Bonita project. If you are an experienced Bonita developer, Project overview will help you manage your projects more efficiently with centralized, direct access to all your project elements.

All-in-One

The major elements of a Bonita project are displayed in a single dashboard to simplify access to each category. However it is still possible to navigate through the project explorer or the top menu bar.

Most cards are just the starting point for creation or modification. However, the “Process,” “Application” and “Profile” (Enterprise only) cards can be opened to display more details.

How to access project overview directly

When you start Bonita Studio, the project overview is automatically displayed to guide you through the various elements of your project. You can also access it directly through the cool bar, where a new button has been added.
