News about Community website

Dear Community,

Here are some updates about the recent work we have done on the Community website.

Video tutorials
The brand new " Video tutorials " section on Community website is available today.

It provides a lot of useful tutorial videos about how to use Bonita BPM 7 to develop process based applications. We will continue to produce more videos, and maintain existing ones when new features are delivered. We already have good feedback about these videos, and we hope that it will be easier for everyone to learn how to use our software, now that everything is in one place.

GroupMind
This summer, we migrated our Community website to the new version, with a Bootstrap theme and many improvements. Thanks very much to each of you who helped us with your feedback.

The work done has been contributed to Drupal.org in two ways:

• Contribution to the modules we are using to build it, like Answers
• Creation of the GroupMind Drupal distribution

The aim is twofold. On the one hand, as an Open Source company, it is important to contribute to the projects we use (e.g. we are also contributing to Eclipse technologies). And now, anyone who wants to create a community website like ours can do it simply by installing a Drupal distribution. On the other hand, it will be easier for us to develop, maintain and update the website, using Drupal.org continuous integration.

We know that there are still a few issues:

• Error messages appear on some content creation
• The user menu is not working well on mobile devices
• In the Q&A, the last activity shown and the answer counter are not accurate
• Improvements on badges are still to come

If you want to help us we appreciate your input. You can report bugs directly via the GroupMind project page on Drupal.org. And even better, if you have some knowledge in PHP, do not hesitate to submit your patch ;-)
