To make your Bonita applications available to end users a server setup is needed. Such a setup involves the installation of several other applications, which can be time-consuming. Here's a solution to accelerate deployment of your Bonita platform.
I'm pleased to announce that we will meet in NYC for a Meetup on Thursday December 14th. I will talk about how we use Jenkins at Bonitasoft to optimize the development of application with Bonita. David B. Schott from CloudBees is joining me for this event and he will talk about Jenkins Pipeline.
We will serve snacks and drinks after the presentation. It's a great opportunity to meet your peers and relax for the end of the year.
As you might already know, we are tracking bugs reported by the Community on a Jira project called Bonita BPM Community . This tool allows us to track them efficiently, work on them with the reporter and if validated, report them to our RD. Then once fixed the bugs can be linked to a specific released version and the reporter is directly updated.
Using the same approach, we would like now to track the ideas for improvement and new features in a Jira project.
If you are new to BPM, or to Bonita BPM, attending a BPM Camp is an easy way to start learning more about how to model and automate your processes.
BPM Camp alternates short presentations and hands-on practice. This iterative approach means that you quickly become more familiar with key BPM benefits, the BPMN standard and how to use the main features of Bonita BPM.
BPM Camp is always presented by one of our technical experts. They are familiar with Bonita BPM and have insights on concrete BPM use cases as they are involved in various Bonitasoft client projects.
At Bonitasoft, the R&D team is currently working on some cool stuff using data science, artificial intelligence, and business process management together.
Data Science is a relatively new practice leveraging mathematics, statistics and data visualization. This practice has emerged with the increasing data volume generated by systems over the last decade. This is what we call "BIG DATA".
By exploring huge amount of data, one is able to discover and understand complex trends and behaviours. By better understanding data one can take smarter decisions.
You might have read my previous [blog-post] regarding sharing and contributing custom widgets to the community.
To go further, I will present a webinar on Tuesday, July 18 at 9:00am (Pacific time) / 12:00 pm (Eastern time) where you will learn how to use the framework provided to create new widgets, but also how to download existing widgets and share your creations.
Too bad you missed the webinar, but you can find the recording here .
The Apache Camel community recently announced the release of the version 2.19.0 of their product, and I'm excited to say that it includes the very first version of the Bonita component! I wanted to take this opportunity to write a post to explain how to use this component.
