Hi,
Does the bonitaBPM allow the modelling of ad-hoc subprocess?

how do you mean ad-hoc subprocess. On what basis is it ad-hoc? Are you sure you can't use a gate to determine if the subprocess should be executed or not?

an ad-hoc subprocess is one which has no sequence: the order in which their constituent tasks are performed is unknown or unspecified. The tasks therein not only have no stipulated running order, they don’t have to execute at all.

Got you. No not possible in the way you describe as a sub-process.

What you're really describing is event based case management system. I've asked for this before as an idea. Maybe you could back me up / add another requirement.

The place to look for a description of CMMN is omg.org which is what you're really looking for.

The other thing I also asked for was decision modelling DMN and again waiting on this.

Go to the specification page. Download the pdf, page 1, paragraph 2 and 3 describe exactly what BPM and CMM are. And what your asking for.
