bonita access problem


hi guys .
i spend almost tree days trying to find how to set access to page or set access to top menu , i want to have specific menu list for specific login user.

i am noob in this thing so plz explain clearly . bonita documentation do not explain to well for someone like me

Just to clarify: do you want to customize the Portal menu or do you want to customize an application menu?

Finally someone answered to my question , plz dont go any where!.
i want to customize an application menu for specific user that login.
if walter.bates login he should see this menus : home | about us | contact us
if helen.kelly login she should see this menus : home | store | about us | contact us
i be really great full if you give me some Tips.

Actually you will need to create two versions of your application. Each version of your application will have a specific menu but share the exact same pages (at least for home, about us, contact us).

To access the application you simply need to share the URL of your application with the users.

In order to managed who can access which application you can associate the first one with "user" profile and the second one with "administrator" profile and make sure that walter.bates only have "user" profile and helen.kelly have at least "administrator" profile.

Note that Community Edition only offers two profiles ("user" and "administrator") whereas the Subscription Edition lets you create your own custom profiles.

i used Subscription version .
this solution look good but what if i have 3 user with 3 different access what if i have 30 user with 30 different access .
this solution is not what i am looking for .
there should be another way !

As you are using the Subscription I would recommend to get in touch with your representative at Bonitasoft in order to get other solutions for this topic.

hi dude , tanx for your replay.
what do you mean representative , my company is representative in iran and no one know how do this.
the only solution they told me is create custom business data and custom layout , this will solved my problem but it hard for me to believe there is no way to do this with bonita engine.
if this is not supported in bonita engine plz tell me it is not supported . i need to answer to my manager about this.
if by representative you mean, they dont answer to simple question. they probably make joke of my question .
plz talk about how can i set access to specific page , i want set access to specific page and only one user has that access and only one user can see that page .
how can i do that ?

You told be that you are using Bonita Subscription Edition, that means that you buy a licence from Bonitasoft and so have access to support and also are in touch with a sale representative working for Bonitasoft. So my recommendation is to get in touch with them.

but my manager told me they do not answer to this kind of question , they only answer to the question that related to bugs that exist in bonita engine .

i don't understand why my manager like this program so badly .
the documentation is too week .
the support is too week.
the community is too week.
the application has to many bug and is not user friendly.
it is all wasting time and money :((
