Migrate cases of a process version to another higher process version

Hi,

I am using Bonita community edition. I am having an issue with maintaining versions in the server. Assume pool 1.0 process is in the server & have several healthy cases. Then I am deploying pool 2.0 process. So I want to migrate pool 1.0 healthy cases to pool 2.0. Is it possible?? if so how??

Hi, when you talk about healthy cases, do you mean they are ongoing cases?

When you update your process versions, all ongoing cases are going to end on the same version. Then new cases will run on the new one.

If I want to migrate 1.0 healthy cases from 1.0 to 2.0 is it possible. Because all the time when I have to do some UI adjustments I have to update the sever as a new version. So it's hard to maintain several set of versions.

Is it possible to deploy the workflow form separately?

This one is the BEST answer!

Hi, Bonita does not support process instance migration. You have to disable the old version (current instances will finish on their version) and deploy and enable the new version (new instances will used this version) .
