Can the default task type be changed

Unless you drag each task from the toolbar, by default, new tasks added to a process are the type script.

Is it possible to set what the default task type is? I'd like the default type to be the abstract type, not the script type, as I prefer to build my process diagrams with abstract tasks as placeholders until I'm ready to set the tasks to the type I need.
