Hello.

I am using bonita and I could not declare a business variable in my software. The option "condition" does not appear in my software. Any one knows why? I am using a free version.

another thing, is it possible to create any time estimation or cost estimation on bonita?

Hi,

Your answer is very clarifying and helpful.

and, yes, I do want to define a condition on a transition between a gateway and a task. I just did know what it was exactly.

about the software tools, I will think about it, and I will get in contact in case.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

Declaration of business variable is done in Data -> Pool variables tab by clicking on the Add... button. In the popup window you need to choose a Name and a Business Object (i.e. the data type you previously defined by creating a Business Data Model).

There is no option such as condition when adding a business variable to a process definition. Maybe you want to define a condition on a transition between a gateway and a task? Condition can be defined only for exclusive and inclusive gateway. So if you can't defined a condition it is maybe because you are using a parallel gateway.

If you need more help you can share (using Google Drive, Dropbox...) your project has a .bos file or some screenshots. That can be really helpful. Also if not already done I recommend to take a look at the getting started tutorial.

There is no really time or cost estimation feature in Bonita but an extra module (BICI) for Bonita Enterprise Edition relies on AI capabilities to predict percentage of chance for a case to finish on time based on your duration target.
