How to customize the look and feel of the Forms and the Portal ?

I have developped some nice processes with Bonita BPM, it runs well, and I am preparing to show that to my boss, or to deploy in production.

However, I would like that the look'n feel match the one of my company or, my customer. What are the files to edit ? Is there some tips and tricks, or best practice examples ?

Hi

Is it possible to change the look and feel of the Portal to add some variables information of my process in Community Version. In a multi instancied subprocess things can be a little confused for the user, because the 139 same tasks for different products have the same name. I wish too put a variable information for identification. See image bellow. Its all the same thing for the user, but each task it is for a different product (Its a Purchase task).

Yes, this is possible to modify the look'n feel of Forms and Portal.

Forms

For forms, you can modify the look and feel of the forms directly in the Studio, when developping your process. The html templates and the css are available and you can edit them. Some examples are already available on Community:

  • Modify forms look and feel
  • Application resource folder

You will have to modify files for every processes. Of course, you can re-use the same ones.

Portal

Changing the look'n feel of the Portal is a little more complicated: you will need to edit files directly. The stylesheets are developped with Less, which helps a lot to change colours, etc. And if you want to add some custom pictures like the logo of your company, there is a folder for that.

By the way, the look'n feel manager is available only in our subscription edition. For community edition, you will have to change the files manually.

Hello i m using bonitasoft 6.3 community version exe installer . i changed some css from C:\BonitaBPMCommunity-6.3.0\workspace\tomcat\bonita\client\tenants\1\work\theme\portal\ but when i close studio and reopen it and lunch portal . i become to default look and feel :( what should i do :( it is really urgent

If this is really urgent, you should consider buying some expertise to Bonitasoft or to one of our partner. You can also buy a Subscription edition, that comes with the Look'n Feel Manager. And of course, as I see that you are asking a lot of beginner questions, you might want to consider to make a Bonitasoft's training to become more autonomous.

Thanks for advice . but till now i m not able to confirm what should i do and not . this platform is for try purpose . if i'll impress with community i'll surely go for subscription . but till now i need help from community people .
