How to set a timer when a task is over due

hello,

Anyone knows how to set a timer when a task is overdue? My intention is that when a task is overdue after a while(e.g 3 hours) the engine will send a email or notification to a manager to be aware of the task situation.

Hi morata

You can use non interrumpting boundary events.

Below the homan task you can add some boundary events, choose the one with the timer on gray and join with some task to do whatever you want. This kind of events dont cancel the task so you open a new flow...
