Migrate Bonita with Oracle database

Hello,

I need to upgrade Bonita from version 7.3 to 7.11,

The actual database is Oracle 11g, and the target will be 19c.

If I check the documentation

it looks like the steps are the following:

  1. Upgrade Bonita to 7.8.4
  2. Upgrade Oracle to 12.c
  3. Upgrade Bonita to 7.10.5
  4. Upgrade Oracle to 19c
  5. Upgrade Bonita to 7.11.3

I'd like to avoid to install Oracle 12.c just for the migration, is it possible to skip steps 2 and 3 ?

This one is the BEST answer!

Hi,

Here in Bonita, we did not check a migration path with such a big step.

However, according to the changes in Bonita and their nature, you can definitely skip steps 2 & 3. This is very likely to work without any inconvenience.
