Monitor process performance: Advantages of BAM?

I found in the documentation a resource for creating analyzes and reports using Jaspersoft. Is there a reason why this software is specified? Something related to compatibility with Bonita that will possibly facilitate the integration process?

Jaspersoft is BI software, as described in the documentation. However, in the context of BAM software, is there any advantage to its use? I found that many BPMs work with modules for analysis through BAM, including this one associated with the BPM context, but in the case of Bonita, what advantages can I obtain in using a BAM that I would not be able to achieve through a BI? I know that BAM is in real time, but most BIs can be updated in short time intervals (1min for example).
