Recommended platform por production
Hello. In my organization i've been tasked with setting up bonita platform 7.10.
I've briefly gone over the platform installation guides and I'd say, details aside, that everything makes sense and it's more or less clear.
What i would like to know, is whats the community de facto position for OS choice?. From what I've read, im pretty much convinced that postgreSQL is the preferred Database option, but what about operating systems? We can spin a Win 2016 server instance or Ubuntu 18.04/20.04 LTS. Organizationally, the IT people will be more comfortable with windows, and I'm okay with that as long as that doesn't mean the platform is a second class citizen.
As experiencied users and contributors, what would you say is the preferred way, or what most of the community is doing?

If there is no strong requirement on a windows specific tool (like mssql) I would recommend to stick with an Ubuntu. It could make your life easier if you intend to use docker in the future or for all the server friendly tooling linux has. But windows is not a second class citizen per se :), so if you have to, windows is ok.

Thank you very much. As we have nothing in particular binding us to Windows, we will go with 18.04.4 LTS. 20.04 is tempting but probably too new and not listed as supported yet.
