Is Bonitasoft's product production, on sale and working across a number of industries doing work all the time,

Yes.

Are companies using it is a tool to develop solutions for selling on the open market? (similar to someone using eclipse to write java programs),

Yes. I'm going just this.

Is it beta? Depends on the release and if it is specified as Beta. You will know because you will be invited to take part, Beta is never general release.

There are general classifications of software as follows:

  • pre-Alpha (Development)
  • Alpha (Internal Testing)
  • Beta (Near final - selected user testing)
  • General Availability (On the market for all users)

You are being a bit hard when you say many questions on the community site are un-answered etc.

The community site is for the community, myself and others do this out of the goodness within us. We do NOT get paid, we do not take recognition etc. We simply try to pass on the knowledge. Bonitasoft do not always appear here though sometimes they do and when they do they help.

If you purchase the subscription model then you have a full service desk that you can use, but training is also important.

When I started I had lots of questions because, 1) I didn't know BPM, 2) I didn't know Java, 3) I didn't know Bonitasoft.

Now I give back after two years...

The other problem I've noticed recently is the need for some people to ask a question twice, once in their own language, and then also in English.

You should also note that some questions are really badly written that it is impossible to answer.

The other thing you should have noticed is, and this is a different problem is that solutions can be given as Comments and not as Answers. The zero's in the page do not necessarily mean it hasn't been answered, it just means the Answer field is blank and therefore not ticked off by the questioner. This is a governance issue of the Community Q&A site and could be handled better. Like a real workflow... :)

If you really think Bonitasoft is not real then i suggest you call them and I'm sure they will give you an Account executive to talk to to see how popular it is. I'm also sure they will be happy to discuss your concerns with them.

a simple access denied in preview page I counted many different user question with practically no solution for last two years , neither a forum /community user nor a bonita engineer has a solution I was just wondering if this is still an early stage concept beta sw as is without any workability so far any idea when this sw becomes workable?

About unanswered question, this is a community forum, with no SLA, so yes, not every question get an answer. You have more chance to get an answer by writing quality question with details, code example, screen capture, log extracts, etc. This is also the case on Stackoverflow ;-)
