Bonitasoft with database

I'm really new to Bonitasoft, I would like to link my process to a simple database (not connector), which one should I choose and what I need as software ? Also, I have look in the bonita's documentation, I'm lost in all the complex configuration... I would like to know the easiest and simplest way. I know the basic of sql, table, insert, delete, select...etc.

Choose the database that the business uses. Makes for greater integration between systems. If PostgreSQL then you need PostgreSQL, if MySQL then you need MySQL.

Re configuration, what are you trying to do? My advice don't do anything you don't need to do, and if you do need it, then you'll already know what to do...so don't do it.

Actually, it`s for my school project. I have a recruitment process, I would like to store my candidate information in a database, and be able to review their information with a process manager...
