Dear community,
At the last BonitaSoft team meeting (who were all those people!? our team is growing!), Miguel mentioned how he’s impressed with the quality and quantity of our Bonita community. I’m happy to share that comment with you – who ARE the quality and quantity of our Bonita community!
The team is growing. We have just welcomed our newest additions from Germany and China. And we have a new partner in Norway.
We’ve had some discussions recently about the democratization of business process management. We know, and we know that you know, “democratization” is not equal to “simplification.” What you do with Bonita technically isn’t simple – the connectors contributed by this community aren’t “simple,” and the applications you implement aren’t “simple.” We are re-mastering some of our communications aimed at the less-technical business community to explain that the accessibility of Bonita does not mean missing features or less powerful software. What do you think about this – about the difference between “democratization” and “simplification” of BPM? Post your thoughts below…

Dave Rosenberg blogs about [that upstart start-up Bonita] disrupting the software market:BPM is a critical technology for application development, yet it is inaccessible for many IT organizations, leaving the incumbents ripe for disruption.
Hmm. Disrupt and empower?
