Dealing with currencies? Discover our brand-new widget!
Euros, dollars, pounds…there’s a widget for that now in the Bonita User Interface Designer!
This new UI Designer widget will allow you to handle currency format input easily. No more need to do it manually! This widget can validate the input based on min / max values and shows a currency symbol directly so the expected input is clearer and more visible.
And that’s not all! This widget is highly flexible, as you can configure:
- a default value
- a read-only property
- the currency symbol ($ by default)
- its position on the widget (left or right)
- the character separator for the fraction (space by default)
- the currency group separator
- the number of decimals and the number of digits within a group
Duplicate an environment in a few clicks
Because your time is valuable, with Bonita 2022.2 you can now simply duplicate an existing environment. No need to do everything from scratch! Now, when creating a new environment, you will notice an option at the bottom: “Duplicate configuration from an existing environment” where you can choose one of your environments. This will result in a copy of the entire configuration of the project and of each process. Perfect for avoiding mistakes and gaining time when creating your clones!
Clearer error messages at extension import and for missing process’ actor mapping
No more headaches due to the import of malformed extensions! This time Bonita will tell you during the import so you can avoid importing malformed artifacts to your project.
Also, when creating your process, have you forgotten to define and map the actors before deploying? Don’t worry! This time Bonita will give you a clearer message so it’s easier for you to identify and fix this issue!
UI Designer frontend has been migrated to AngularJS 1.8
Following Google’s announcement of the discontinued long term support for AngularJS, earlier this year, we are planning a migration of the UI Designer towards XLTS for AngularJS on our next version. This will assure an extended AngularJS support and will allow us to benefit from CVE and stability patches.
In Bonita 2022.2 we have reached our first milestone by migrating the UI Designer frontend from AngularJS 1.3 to AngularJS 1.8 (the latest stable version).
Bonita will allow you to make a smooth transition towards XLTS in 2023.1
Stay tuned for more details about how to manage this transition.
Don't hesitate to take a look at the Release Note.
