Bonita 6.5 - Process Import - Diagrams do not validate

Hi there,

I have several diagrams that validate correctly in 6.4.2 but after importing into 6.5.0 Studio they do not validate.

They all seem to have a similar problem, I have a Pool Variable ABC (Text) that does not validate with the message

Unresolved dependency for expression ABC of type variable

When I look at the form that has the problem the variable is used as data on a non-editable textfield.

What could be wrong?

I confirm that I reproduce the issue, I would let you know as soon as we found a workaround or a fix.

Same problem here. Please don mark this as resolved untila fix or workaround has been found.

the workaround is as follows:

on forms widget where display label has been hidden.

Click on show label and reselect the variable expression.

This will manually fix the problem…

I got more information on this issue.
It was introduced by a corruption in the diagram when using an earlier Studio version.
Unfortunately we will not be able to provide an automated fix for this issue.
Instead, it can be manually fixed with the workaround proposed by my colleague Romain.

Can you share with us one of the diagram export out of Studio 6.4.2 in order to reproduce the issue?

Yes. I found it. Took me an hour to get the Incident management demo process from the process library running. Should be fixed in my opinion!

Can you confirm that you try to run this process: http://www.bonitasoft.com/node/10096 ?
Which version did you use?

I just run the process with version 6.5.0 without any issue (just need to add the actor mapping).

For information, I just did a clean up of the process and this new version should be available soon in the process library.

The example for Community edition is now fixed and you can download it from: http://www.bonitasoft.com/for-you-to-read/process-library/it-help-desk

Note that example now requires version 6.5.0 or later.
