Bonita BPM 7.4 is now available!

We are happy to announce that Bonita BPM 7.4 is now available for download!

This blog post provides an overview of what’s in this new version.

You can now directly browse and query the Business Data database embedded in Bonita Studio. This is a great help when testing a process that makes use of business variables.
Also the Business Data Model is now saved in an XML file, making an easier comparison in case you end up with two different versions of your model.

A new set of REST connectors is now available, making integration with third party services easier. You can for example use these connectors to integrate your process with an issue tracker such as Jira.
Additional CMIS connectors are also available making operations on multiple documents easier.

Bonita BPM Studio includes several improvements: support of Long data type for contract input, capability to sort operations on a task, possibility to use a dynamic expression to define the due date of a task, and more.

The UI Designer includes an editor for CSS assets. The list of variables can now be searched and sorted, which makes editing variables easier.

The bundle with JBoss 7 has been upgraded and is now based on WildFly 10. Note that WildFly 10 requires Java SE 8. If you need to use Java SE 7, you can still use the Tomcat bundle.

Give it a try and please do report any issues you might find on our bug tracker.
