does the bonita support integration with openKM ?
Hello,
“Support” has a strong meaning in the integration topic. “Integration” itself can have here different meaning.
For Bonita BPM to use openKM, connectors can be used.
- depending on the openKM webservice specification, the existing webservice connector can be used
- depending on the openKM REST API specification, custom REST connectors can be developped
- depending on the openKM CMIS specification, the existing CMIS connectors can be used
For openKM to use Bonita BPM, you can use the Java API or REST API
What is your objective ? What is your target ? What kind of integration are you thinking about (using BPM processes that communicate with openKM ? having openKM embedding the bonita BPM engine ?) ?
as has been mentioned by jllort there are connectors available and I have used them to good success.
There is however a lot to be desired and that is based on your usage case requirements. For example getting a “list of versions for a document” doesn’t exist and “Check Document In” last time I tried didn’t work though “Check Document Out” did.
It has great promise, my biggest problem is the integration of forms from Bonita not being able to call connectors in the community version, so have to use JavaScript and SOAP to do what I want it to do.
