Hello,
I am migrating some processes from version 5.10.2 to version 7.1. We use a custom connector which works fine when we use it version 5.( All source files are present.)
When i tried migrating a process to version 7.1, it says " This custom connector has been migrated into a connector definition and a connector implementation. The connector implementation has to be reviewed in order to work as expected." When i try to edit the connector, the source files are missing and i cant find any input and output variables i have used in the connector.
Could anyone let me know what i can do?
Thanks
Sanjeev
Hi Sean,
Thanks for your quick answer
Is it like mandatory to migrate it to 6 before we migrate the process to version 7?
seems to be completely different from version 5 - new features, deprecated apis etc.

Sanjeev
If you are doing what you are doing, yes completely and utterly must go from 5.9 and above to 6 first then to 7.
6 and 7 are closer than 5 to 7 so the effort in doing 5 to 6 will work in your favor.
5 to 6 was a major piece of work changed API’s etc as you have noted, but the change is also true from 6 to 7 just not as much.
If you don’t do 5 to 6 then (the satirical bit) feel free to literally rewrite everything… Apologies.
The links are very clear on this…from what I’ve read.

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply Sean
