when I try to use the app for the first time, submitting the user install/install, I got this window with a big "Technical User Warning" and then the screen freezes, so is not possible to continue with the browser session and create the first user.
Warning: you are logged as technical user. This user has limited rights, its purpose is to initialize the organisation.
The DB is being created (MySql), tomcat log looks good, but there is no bonita log (empty).
installation done on linux, tomcat 7.0.47, mysql 5.5, bonita 6.1.1 deployment
Wich browser you are using? Firefox? Is it updated?
This warning is just to tell you that you logged with the technical user and this user is in no organization, so you can start creating/importing your own organization. Never saw it frozen (and I've seen quite a lot of problems with tomcat and linux).
all 3 browsers are up to date, chrome, firefox and IE.
to be fair, I had a lot of issues with this installation, caused by my lack of understanding of java/tomcat. The ISP folder structure is not the same as a standard tomcat install, so I had to tweak some files/params and probably caused some damage.
I will hire someone experienced to fix the configuration...
thanks anyway, please disregard this question for the time being.
I am back where I started - after reinstalling everything, I have bos 6.2.0 on tomcat 7.0.47 and linux.
the "technical user warning" window opens after login with install user, but there is no way to close the pop up. I know that there should be a link on upper left corner to close the window.
bonita log is empty, tomcat log looks good. A new database was created, initialized by the install process.
I cant go forward because I am unable to add an admin user.
