BonitaSoft is growing its documentation team in Grenoble, France.
Our goal for this year is to provide the community with documentation that is useful - easy to search, with well explained features, how-to’s, and information on both development and production environments. (And we’ll be migrating from “old-school” to Web 2.0 wiki!)

Technical Writer - Job Description
As part of the documentation team, you will be responsible for writing and updating Bonita Open Solution installation guides, user guides, reference manuals, tutorials, and other software and training documentation. This includes the creation/inclusion of text, graphics, and video in a wiki system and the subsequent production of pdf, xml and html products.You will work closely with the R&D and Services Team.
Requirements
- Education: Bac +5 or equivalent (computer science helpful but not necessary)
- Experience: minimum 3 years experience as a technical writer in English in the software field
- Experience with production of multiple documentation products from a central source
- Experience with DITA for content management
- Experience with developing and maintaining a wiki for knowledge capture is desirable
- Fluent in English and French with excellent writing skills in English
- Self-directed and team oriented
- Consistent compliance with deadlines
- Web experience and experience in business process management is an asset
- Background or experience in software development (java) is desirable
- Training on Bonita Open Solution will be provided, but prior experience with Bonita or Bonita Open Solution is a plus!
