How to Configure BonitaBPM Platform for BonitaBPMCommunity Tomcat Bundle

I have tried simple process variable example given at link http://community.bonitasoft.com/project/process-variable-example using BonitaBPMCommunity-7.3.1-Tomcat-7.0.67. Its working well in bonita studio and with default h2 database configuration with tomcat bundle. But when i configure tomcat bundle with PostgreSQL database its not working well with Bonita ui forms but working well with process containing 6.x forms. I have followed database configuration instructions given at official link http://documentation.bonitasoft.com/?page=tomcat-bundle . There is no error in log file at the time of PostgresSQL configuration with bundle. This behavior is because of reason that i am running tomcat bundle “BonitaBPMCommunity-7.3.1-Tomcat-7.0.67” on Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit? I am new to Bonita kindly forgive if i have asked something stupid.

Error (when i run process in Mozilla Firefox developer mode):
myProcessVariable is a Process Variable defined in process.

Hello

if you want use Studio (7.10) with Postgres 

1) correct catalina 

path workspace\tomcat\server\conf

path2 workspace\server_configuration\tomcat_conf

path3 workspace\server_configuration\conf

add for path's property :

sysprop.bonita.db.vendor=postgres

2)correct bonita.xml

path workspace\tomcat\server\conf\Catalina\localhost

path2 workspace\server_configuration\conf\Catalina\localhost

correct jdbc connect property

3)restart studio

4)open portal

You need to do all the steps. Please follow all the steps correctly. It worked for me. Please attach your log if it does not work.

Looks like its still trying to connect to h2 database. You have not done configuration properly.

You must have mess it up because your bonita engine is still using h2 database, but it should not cause problems with user form.

The error you get in mozilla suggests that you didn’t define ‘myProcessVariable’ on the form - form is not strictly connected with the process so you don’t have automatic access to process variables on the form. You need to use API variables to get values of process variables.

Also, the log from server says that the process expects to get ‘myProcessVariable’ from the screen. It means that you configured it in the ‘form contract’. But contract only says what value will be send from the formdata, not to the form. Maybe that is the problem.
