Hi Everyone,
I am using Bonita Community 7.2.3. I have some questions and I hope you can help me.
**Scenario **: I have to create/update a calendar event if any event comes in. I can only find Google Calendar Event connector in bonita. Can anyone explain how to configure that with an example? I tried to do configure but I didn’t understand how to create a client using ‘Google Admin Console’.
Are there any other connectors to update calendar event? (Ex: Microsoft Outlook, Office 365). Please can you share your thoughts asap.
Any help would be appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Varshini
Hi Sean,
Scenario: If a person submits a form(Ex:notice) with a particular date. I have to update my outlook calendar in that date to schedule an event. I searched whether bonita provides any connector that links to Microsoft Outlook or Office 365 to update calendar events.
So I found out bonita is providing ‘google-calendar-event’ connector to update Google calendar. I didn’t understand how to create a Google calendar event. Can you explain how can I achieve that?
I also asked for other connectors that supports Microsoft Outlook or Office 365. I hope this explanation clears the confusion. Hope you can help me.
In your reply you quoted that “There are no Calendar events”. What do you mean by that? Bonita doesn’t have such feature? Google-calendar-event doesn’t fall under this category?
Please find the reference for google calendar - http://documentation.bonitasoft.com/google-calendar-api-v3-0
Exchange - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1spz1rfYTIQ. I can’t find this connector in bonita 7
Thanks,
Varshini

As this is:
Another thing is please don’t confuse everyone by saying I want to do this in Microsoft and then tell us you’re trying to use Google. No will rush to help you if you are so inconsistent.
If you cannot find the Connector then it probably doesn’t exist. I can assure you that Microsoft Connectors do not exist. So you’ll need to write your own unless someone comes up with one that they are happy to release.
Here is a link to the Outlook365 API https://msdn.microsoft.com/office/office365/api/calendar-rest-operations
The Google ones are present, certainly are in 7.3.x.
Regarding my “There are no Calendar events”. What do you mean by that? Bonita doesn’t have such feature?
What I mean here is Bonitasoft does not provide or manage calendar system. This is for connectors such as the Google ones.
And please ignore the video - it’s a problem with the internet - too much old information - this is 5.2 and we’re on 7.3.
Using the Google Calendar Connector once you have specified the connector connection parameters click next where you will be presented with a form to add all the details for the Calendar Event.
To add the Google Calendar Connector
- Click on Lane or Task
- Click Tab Execution → Connectors (In or Out as required)
- Click Add
- Under Categories click > next to Calendar
- Select Google (Calendar API v3)
- In Connectors definition select Create Event
- Click Next
- give it a name
- Click Next
- Fill in your details (leave for sample)
- Click Next
- Fill in Your Event details…
- Click Finish

I sort of think I understand what you’re asking but can you be a little clearer?
There are no Calendar events, so can you explain this, and what do you want to do with it?
Can you outline step by step what you are trying to do?
