Key shortcut Alt+O

How to chage or turn off the shortcut Alt+O? Because of this shortcut I can’t use my regional character “ó”.

You can do the following to get the character ó

Alt+0243

Hold the Alt key and on the keyboard type the numbers 0243 release the Alt key and there you are…

See https://usefulshortcuts.com/alt-codes/accents-alt-codes.php

for all the Alt Keys.

To change the Alt+o setting you will need to change the key-bindings:

https://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_How_do_I_create_my_own_key-binding_configuration%3F
https://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_How_do_I_provide_a_keyboard_shortcut_for_my_action%3F

In studio do Cntrl+Shift+L to see the current bindings, and then do Cntrl+Shift+L again to open the keys preferences page.

We use the Alt+number combination - it’s easier and we don’t have to change the combination every update…it becomes natural after a while.

Can you let me know in which context are you using this key combination? Is that when defining a task name?

Did this shortcut trigger any thing?

In keys preferences there is not Alt+O shortcut.

Finally! Thank U for a solution.
