I am running Bonita 6.3.2 Community Edition. I have many engine log files created in my bonita_home/tomcat/logs folder. It appears that these files are never removed since I have files from 2015. Is there an automatic process to remove older log files? Is it safe to manually remove older log files?
you can safely remove manually all old logs files from D-1. If you don't want to do it manually but set an automated configuration, you can use java.util.logging configuration.
By the way, I see that you still use bonita BPM 6.3, which is quite an old version. Have you tried a later version? Bonita 7 has been pretty improved (lots of new features, new engine configuration, more flexibility, more features available in Community edition)
If you need more information, you can find an overview of Bonita 7.9 platform, and if you have questions about it, feel free to ask them on our Community Q&A or directly on Youtube.
I hope this helps. If it does, could you please validate the answer? Thx
I constructed my Bonita solution and executed it several times. I would like to perform process mining and to carry out process mining there are fundamentals information needed like: ID of the activities found in my process, the name of the activities and the timestamp of when the activities have been done.
I got on the website and on the REST API part from bpm api it shows the information i am needing but don"t tell where and how to do your request to get the information. Do you have an idea on how I can obtain those information please?
