Hello! I’ve been following the Bonito BPM 7 video tutorials. I’ve created my own organization and members, but whenever I try to submit the form created in the demos, I get the following error:
Error:{ “exception”: “class org.bonitasoft.engine.exception.BonitaRuntimeException”, “message”: “USERNAME=Bret | org.bonitasoft.engine.persistence.SRetryableException: javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.PropertyValueException: not-null property references a null or transient value: com.company.model.ExpenseReport.createdBy” }
It seems to be telling me that the createdBy ExpenseReport attribute is null (or undefined), but I don’t know what steps I need to take to fix it. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bret
Hi,
There was an issue with the previous release.
I released a new version of the example compatible with Bonita 7.3.x. http://community.bonitasoft.com/project/expense-report-example1
Please give it a try a let me know if any.
@Sean: I don’t find the bug reported in the tracker, could you please share the link with me?
Cheers
I tried to import the process into 7.3.0 and it doesn’t even import.
What version are you using?
regards
7.3.1, community edition. I’m a bit confused… since I’m running Bonita BPM locally, how would you have access to my process?
Interesting you should even think that
Hacking? No not me
I actually downloaded the official version from the Bonita Web site to try it out and found it doesn’t even load. I’ve reported this as a bug, hopefully one day it will get fixed.

@Lio sorry I created an issue on the github page not the bug tracker. More relevant I thought.
