PB Setting up Bonita: Syntax Error "(" unexpected

Hi everybody,

I am on Ubuntu server 14.04 and I try to install Bonita. I have downloaded three versions (7.1.5, 6.5, 6.4).

All time, I get this message:

Bonita 1: Syntax Error “(” unexpected

Can someone get me out there, please?

You are trying to setup Bonita BPM Studio (the graphical development environment) on an headless server. That is not possible. To learn more about Bonita BPM solution architecture please checkout the " Bonita BPM overview"

To install the server side part of Bonita BPM solution refer to " Basic Bonita BPM platform installation"

When exactly did you get the error message?

Can you share the full content of the file .log (it’s an hidden file) located in BonitaBPMCommunity-7.1.5/workspace/.metadata folder?

Also if you are using the installer you might want to try the zip package.

The one in the zip package want to open a GUI and I work with Ubuntu server 14.04 (not graphic).

This file “BonitaBPMCommunity-7.1.5/workspace/.metadata” doesn’t exist yet. The installer Bonita-xxxxxx.run return immediatly the message above.
