Surely it is possible to export a .bpmn.
You’ll find the menu at Diagram > Export as > BPMN 2.0
I hope the answer helpful to you.
Question is “for what reason?”
I suspect you are trying to import to another system… 
I would just rename the file to have extension .xml
It is after all just an xml file…albeit with a different extension (bpmn).
Now as to forms and other resources.
You should know that while BPMN 2.0 is a standard (that’s why you can export it) forms and resources are NOT a standard, and as every vendor will have their own version, they are therefore not exported as part of a BPMN 2.0 standard file.
You should be able to import the export to another system that can read the BPMN 2.0 xml but you will have to regenerate every form and resource you need within the new platform.
I know it doesn’t solve the problem, but it does answer the question…
