Unable to import page

I created a page in UI designer and then exported it and imported in portal. I added it to a custom application as home page and can see it properly. But this is a html page. I have two questions:

  1. If I try to edit even a slight thing in the index.html or properties file and rezip using the same structure, I am unable to import it in the portal. The portal says that the structure is incorrect. What am I doing wrong?

  2. How can I start creating my own groovy pages instead of html pages so that I can take advantage of groovy and use APIs to get business object data etc. I am using Bonitasoft Community version at this time.

Your zip is incorrect…this is a common problem,
