Want to create 3 lane approval process. Lane 1 is the Initiator, lane 2 is Initiator Manager and lane 3 will be the Initiator Mangers's Manager.

Lane 1 and lane 2 it's working. But not able to configure lane 3 actor. Please guide in the setup of this lane 3 actor.

Hi Surajb,

you just have to click on the desired lane (your lane 3) and coose General > Actors tab to setup your actor

for this use case, you should use the "user manager" actor filter available in the Bonita Market place

If we are trying to set the actor in Lane 3 with the roles then the request is sent to all the users in that role.

For Lane 3 - I want that request to be sent to the user who is the manager of the user in lane 2. This should be dynamic. If the request is sent forward from Lane 2 then it should be automatically sent to the Initiator Manager's Manager. 

Lane 1 - Initiator

Lane 2 - Initiator Manager

Lane 3 - Initiator Manager's Manager
