What happens with pending cases when changes in the process are made?

Hi experts,

I’m using Community 7.2 and I’d like to know what happens with non finished cases when changes are made in the Studio and the button “run” is pressed.

I’ve noticed that sometimes the open cases disappear but not every time.

If using the studio, using “run” should deploy the same process so all other instances are destoyed.

On a production environment you should create a new version of the process so deploying the new one will have no impact on the “old still executing” ones.
