Yes, it’s like a newbie question, I’m migrating from Bonita 5 and I can’t find this option in the Bonita Portal. I can change the user password when I log as an admin, but if I use a normal user I can’t. Where is it?
I’ve been searching on the documentation without success, I’ve done click on every option and I can’t find it, I’ve tried with several users with the same result. I don’t know what to do.
as far as I know there isn’t the capability for a user to change their password. It could be argued that it is a business process and you should write your own procedure for this.
However I agree with you - it should be part of the basic User function.
How this would then integrate with LDAP integration would have to be considered as well.
I would suggest adding a bug feature request to the JIRA database… here…
Hello,
there is no such feature for end users in the Portal, only administrator can change password.
You can use this process in order to provide such a functionality to your end users. You will have a flexibility of actor mapping to decide who is able to initiate the process, in case you do not want to allow anyone to do it.
Cheers,
Haris
