I've been working on getting the Bonita stack running on my M2 MacBook Pro. I followed the directions, installed the Docker server, got that up and running, then the JDK, and after that the Bonita Studio Community Edition. On launch of Studio, the Applications and UI Designer, as well as a bunch of the other icons are greyed out. Also, in the screenshot in the instructions, a username appeared at the right. I have no such thing. What have I done wrong?
EDIT: Fixed. Comment below said the docs need a step added for creating a Project in Studio before the buttons will work. Added a Project, buttons showed up.
Hi,
You are mixing the Bonita User/Admin apps and the Studio:
- The Studio is the development environment that you’ll need to create your processes and application.
- The Bonita User/Admin apps are web applications provided by the platform.
I recommend following the getting started tutorial to get into the solution.

I'm not mixing them. The application I'm asking about is running, and titled BonitaStudioCommunity-2023.1-u0. I thought I'd pasted in a screenshot in the OP, but apparently it didn't take.
I've been following the Getting Started Tutorial. It says:
Installation validation
To make sure that everything is properly installed, click on the Applications button in the toolbar. This should open the Bonita Application Directory in your web browser:
Also click on the UI Designer button in the toolbar to check that the UI Designer is ready to use:
Ready to move on
You have successfully installed Bonita Studio, and the tools and test environment are up and running.
It doesn't, however, say what to do if these validation steps don't work. So I came here to ask.

Did you create a Project in the Studio ? You must have an active project to have access its runtime.
PS: the doc is out of date. I’ll fix that. Thanks for the feedback.
That fixed it. Thank you.
