Get the selected value of a dropdown list

Hey,

I'm working with Bonita v7 and I would like to know how we get the selected value of a dropdown list in a form. (a select in my case)

By this I mean I would like to save the selected value of this dropdown list in a process variable when I press submit.

Any help would be appreciated,

Please especify if you are using Legacy o V7 Forms

Hello,

Finally found the trick under v7 forms. This was all about the "Value" field in the select widget.

I close this case.

Could you please help me with this? I am also trying to get the selected value from the Select widget, to send the value back to a contract variable named "selectedOption"

Another thing is that when I select an option, the dropdownlist is not taking the value... instead, it takes back the first default value (placeholder)...
