Thanks ttoine and gusto2 for the answers, i think now i'm getting the idea(i could not answer in that question, don't know why). So now,my doubt is, i was thinking to do my final project of the university with Bonita on the cloud is that possible? I was thinking to do that with Heroku because i think that for my purposes it's free... But how to install Bonita there? There is a way ? I need to install Bonita on my pc and somehow recover the data i need? Or can i install Bonita on Heroku to acess the data directly there?
Hi, for real usage you will need more than 512 MB.. so yes, it will run on cloud, but IMHO you need a VPS under control (AWS, Rackspace, EcoVPS, ... plenty more to choose from). No problem with that. Count that with 512 MB it may be running, but painful. 1GB for small projects, production sizing starts from 4-8GB..
Heroku (or other PaaS providers, such as OpenShift, Google App Engine, ..) usually have limitations to keep configuration, security, density, .. under control, so you'd have to spend lot of time to force the Bonita engine run on a specific platform.
Have fun.. Gabriel
hello pedropaulo88
I'm Viviana and I'm evaluating Bonita with the intend of use it on the cloud. Last days I've trying to install the tomcat bundle on OpenShift. Bonita is having issues to start once there (engine unload and default tenant id missing errors). Would you share with me the steps you took to achieve the goal of having Bonita on the cloud?
Thanks in advance
Hello, I think you should have a look at:

Ok - and I forgot the installation. The easiest way is to download a bundle (e.g. Tomcat or JBoss server bundle), install it on the server. Then follow a documentation to deploy applications from the studio to the server..
