Is it possible to execute a Connector Email based on a Condition

Hello ,

I am trying to send email only when a certain condition is met.
By default , if email is configured on connector In, then when the Task arrives, email is sent.

But I want to check a Boolean condition and then decide if the email should be sent or not.
Could you help me to execute a Email notification / connector only when a condition is true.

I think you can do it via service task separate to the user/human task
