It is posible to translate the automatic comments from the system user from english to spanish?

Hi,

When a taks is assigned to any user, the system add a comment to the task feed saying... The task "XXXX" is now assigned to xxxx.

It is posible to translate this comments? It's strange to have the whole portal in spanish except for the comments.

Hello,

One year later, and with version 6.5, this is still happening unfortunately.

As these messages are displayed on the end-user task page, they are really inappropriate. I got a bad feedback from my users about this.

Is it possible to either PREVENT completely these messages to be generated (server setting ? process option ?) or to HIDE them to the user with the Community Version ?

you can hide it by editing the CSS and set the CSS display rule of the comments section to none

Hi,

System comments can be disabled but not translated as it is. BUT with subscription edition you can create an event-handler that will allow you to CATCH when a system comment has to be created, and translate the string into the language you want…
