I am trying to figure out the issue in more detail.

Actually I have the same issue with the question.

Following the answer, I added permission in Bonita studio, however, it still has the same error.

Profile | User = [flownode_visualization, flownode_management, document_visualization]

I found the issue the only administrator can see the human task form without a problem.

When a human task assign to a user with a user profile, the user cannot read the process variable returned by external API

for example, ../API/bpm/activityVariable/{{taskId}}/requestDescription

But, if the user has an administrator profile, the user can read the variable without a problem.

Please advise me on what is wrong with my project.
