Can you let me know how did you install the Studio in Brazilian Portuguese language? Because Brazilian Portuguese is not provided by Bonitasoft.
Did you download Bonita Studio and manually add the language? Did someone provides you a version of the Studio with Brazilian Portuguese language included?
If you switch the Studio to English do you still have the issue?
Initially I’ve downloaded from Bonitasoft website. But after the new release (7.9) I can’t find the link of the older versions, so I’ve downloaded again from the OW2 servers with this link: https://release.ow2.org/bonita/BonitaStudioCommunity-7.8.4-x86_64.exe (I am using the 7.8.4 version)
Brazilian Portuguese appears as an option when I install:
After installation, it still as an option in the preferences menu:
Not all the words are translated, so I think it may be some option of the OS.
Anyway, I’ve switched to English, with no success.
Inclusions of Brazilian Portuguese in the Bonita 7.8.4 installer language selection was a mistake. As the translation was not maintained for a while it was only partial. This explain why you get this mix of Brazilian Portuguese and English.
After installation of 7.9.0 do you get the same issue regarding the configuration of actor mapping?
I try to reproduce (on Linux not Windows) your issue using 7.8.4 in Brazilian Portuguese, but I didn’t reproduce it: I get the “Mapeamento de ator” as expected in the list on the left of the window.
Can you share (on Google Drive, Dropbox…) the content of the Studio log file (available from Studio help menu)? It might includes an error message related to the display of this window.
org.eclipse.core.runtime.CoreException: Plug-in “org.bonitasoft.studio.actors” was unable to instantiate class
Plug-in “org.bonitasoft.studio.actors” was unable to instantiate class “org.bonitasoft.studio.actors.configuration.ActorMappingConfigurationWizardPage”.
java.lang.NullPointerException
I installed version 7.9 and it works normally. After that I reinstalled the version 7.8.4 and the menu appears (with the Brazilian Portuguese language, on Windows 7).
Maybe it was an installation issue…
Well, it’s working fine now. Thanks for the help, Antoine!
Thanks for the feedback. I report a bug to improve this behavior in order to avoid hiding the “Actor mapping” configuration but rather display an information message that having an organization deployed (this lead to activate the organization) is a prerequisite to actor mapping configuration.
@antoine.mottier, your scenario is right but I think difference is something else. I’m using my organization not ACME. My organization has many goups (about 350 rows in goup_ table). I’m using Bonita community version 7.8.4.
@Nasrin is it possible for you to share your organization file so I can try to reproduce the issue? Or maybe on your side test with the latest release of Bonita (7.9.2 as of today)?
