Bug deploying processes with XML data type

It looks like a process that contains XML data type can not be deployed in Bonita BPM App Server Bundles (Tomcat). The bar file does not contain the definition of the data types. Is it by design? or a bug? I did not find any comments in this regard. Any suggestion?
