Which difference between to pubish an organisation from Studio and import it in Portal

Hi all !

I'd to know which difference is between the fact to publish an organisation from Studio and to import it in Portal please ?

Because, I've the same datas in both cases about my organisation.. I dont 've really understood the difference.

Someone could explain me this point ?

This one is the BEST answer!

With the local portal, you can publish the organization. With a portal installed on a remote server, you can export it from the Studio and import it from the Portal. The result is the same as publishing, with 2 steps instead of 1.

Good morning

There is a chapter in the documentation about your question: http://documentation.bonitasoft.com/organization-overview-1 chapter "Tools for managing an organization".

To give you short tips, by default you have the same organization in Studio and Portal, but they could be different: Studio organization would be for test purposes and Portal one for production purposes. Publishing the organization enables to synchronize Portal organization with the Studio one (only for the local portal (embedded in the Studio), it could not be used for the portal installed on a production server). Exporting/Importing the organization is another option to synchronize organizations between Studio, Portal and to backup it.

Do you mean that i can publish my organisation just for the local portal ? If I've a remote server, I could not to publish it from Studio?
