What's new in Bonita 2023.1 Beta - Enterprise Edition?

Au revoir multi-tenancy and hello multi-runtime! (Bonita Enterprise only)
Major release, major changes. The already-deprecated multi-tenancy feature in Bonita is now gone for good from Bonita 2023.1. It is time to migrate and we can help! We have developed a conversion tool named MT2MR that will split your current multi-tenant platform into several Bonita Runtimes. Each tenant will be contained in a different runtime, all elements not related to that tenant will be deleted, and you will be able to manage a separate Bonita engine database for each.

User account provisioning with single sign-on (SSO) (Bonita Enterprise only)
Bonita Enterprise 2023.1 brings the capability to automatically synchronize your users’ information - such as first name, last name, and email - on account creation with a single sign-on authentication. The information is directly retrieved from your SAML or OIDC identity provider. Furthermore, you no longer need to create roles and groups on the Bonita Runtime database beforehand. Simply send this information on the SAML response or OIDC ID token and Bonita will create them automatically. No additional tools needed. Security and extensibility all at one time!
Add dependencies directly from our Bonita Artifact Repository (Bonita Enterprise only)
We have decided to organize all our artifacts in one single location, available to Bonita Enterprise users: the Bonita Artifact Repository. By setting up this repository on your project, Bonita will be able to download all the dependencies that you request from this location. Ready to try it out? Just launch our new configuration wizard (see Connecting Bonita Studio to your repository) and let it guide you through the configuration process. The Bonita Test Toolkit is already there awaiting to be used on your integration tests!
Bonita Central (Bonita Enterprise only)

Bonita Enterprise users will now be able to monitor all their Self-Contained Apps in one place (try and see with Bonita Central). Bonita Central also allows Bonita Enterprise users who switch from using multi-tenancy to the multi-runtime capability of Bonita 2023.1 to have a centralized view of their Bonita application portfolio.
As Self-Contained Apps push the composability of your apps forward, Bonita Central consolidates your Self-Contained Apps portfolio. This first version offers a centralized place for configuration, health check, and supervision:
- Configure your apps
- Analyze and troubleshoot errors easily
- Check the health of all your apps at a glance
- Get key performance indicators for each app
…and this is just the beginning! Self-Contained Apps technical evolution will continue. Stay tuned!
